Oda Nagazumi (織田長純)

Nagazumi ODA (November 22, 1856 - November 29, 1920) was a Japanese peer. He was born as the third son of Nagayasu ODA, the lord of the Shibamura Domain in Yamato Province. His real mother was Hama. His common name was Tokujiro. His court rank was Shosanmi (Senior Third Rank). His title was viscount.

He was born on November 22, 1856. He succeeded the family estate on July 22, 1880. He was created viscount on July 8, 1884. He was created Jugoi (Junior Fifth Rank) on August 12, 1884. He was promoted to Shosanmi (Senior Third Rank) later. On April 24, 1885, he held the post of Kyuchu Shiko (a retainer of the Imperial court) and served the Emperor Meiji. Upon the abolition of Kyuchu Shiko on July 7, 1885, he was dismissed. On July 21, 1885, he was assigned to Kinban (a sentry) of Kashiko Dokoro (Palace Sanctuary) in the Imperial Palace. Upon the abolition of Kinban of Kashiko Dokoro on February 5, 1886, he was dismissed. From the phrase "Annoyed by various sicknesses in his lifetime until last days" featured in his tombstone, it is speculated that he was not endowed good health. He died on November 29, 1920.

He had no spouse and real children. His adopted son was Naganori ODA (the eldest son of Nagasue ODA, Nagazumi's younger brother).
